CDCVI’s Teen Transition Program provides students with skills, experience, and hope as they transition from high school to post-secondary activities such as college, vocational school, and employment.

Advances CDCVI’S Independent Living Program where students learn daily living skills including safety at home, cooking, shopping, banking, traveling in the community, recreation, and self-advocacy. Independence supporters help CDCVI advance this vital program.

CDCVI’s STEPS Children’s Program creates opportunities for school aged kids with vision loss to broaden their knowledge of the world, develop an understanding of their role within their community, and increase self-esteem. $500 The Littlest Legacy
CDCVI’s Blind Babies Program is custom designed for children birth to age 5. Contributors support this program’s ability to provide early intervention, counseling, and parental education. It also enhances cognitive and emotional development, sensory awareness, and skills that are the foundation for continuing education.
$750 Illuminator Provider
Illuminator providers help advance CDCVI’s Residential Life Program which provides independent living and job readiness skills, as well as social skills that are critical for daily functioning in any environment. The goal of this program is to help blind people achieve their fullest potential.
$1,000 Mobility Provider
Provides essential transportation for clients to travel to and from work, important appointments, outings, and trainings.
$2,500 Foresight Supporter
Provides one senior with training to manage home organization including tactile and audio labeling, financial management, personal care, and more.
$5,000 Eye Opening Supporter
Funds early intervention, counseling, and parental education for one baby. Program enhances development, sensory awareness, and skills that are the foundation for continuing education.
$10,000 Sight Seeker Supporter
Provides one teen between the age of 14 and 22 with skills and experience to facilitate their successful transition from high school to post-secondary activities such as college, vocational school, and employment.
$15,000 Visionary Supporter
Funds the STEPS program for three children, creating opportunities to broaden their knowledge of the world, develop an understanding of their role within their community, and increase their self-esteem.
